TK100 hydraulics

I just purchased a 2009 TK100, which is New Hollands crawler. I am having a problem with the hydraulics. There are 3 pair of female couplers and I found out that this new hydraulic coupler does not have a sleave that slides back like the old hydraulic lines do, they just snap in, and to uncouple them you just pull them out. We are trying to use the old lines that are on my disc. It appears as if the male end of the old lines do not go in far enough into the females on the tractor. Do I have to replace the old type with a new type?

Go to your NH dealer and get the correct pioneer tips that NH uses. Its a pretty standard tip now. Compare it to yours and if your old tips are different replace them with the new. If the hoses are rough it may be a good time to replace a hose as well.

The tips are not that expensive, when I use my last one I buy a few extra and always keep one or two on the tractor at all times just in case I go to hook on to an implement I either didn't change before or am borrowing. And if I ever need a tip I know where they are.

you most likely need new tips on the disc's lines.

That's what it was. I replaced tips and everything works as it should. Thanks for your help.
