I'm sorry. I meant the quick attach it's self. The plate is on the attachment. It held up fine.

The titan quick attach is well built, the problem is that you are doing something it is not designed to do. That is putting stress and pulling it away from the pin when you dig out stumps. If that was a stock quick attach is probably would have broken, not just bend like the Titan did. Your attachment is the problem. You should have built a stump shovel. The SSQA design has one flaw and you found it. It is not designed to be pulled away from the bottom plates, that is what you are doing. If you used it normally with a bucket, forks or anything else there would not be this problem. Subsoilers are designed to be pulled by a three point hitch. Not front end loader. You better be careful you might bend your bucket cylinders if you are not careful.

I've been thinking about this for some time and you make good points. I was able to straighten the SSQA I'll put som bracing on it to keep it from bending like that again also I'll take down the second video it's not fair to you.

What Btown said.
Back dragging with that sub soiler puts way much pressure on those pins and you will continue to have problems with that setup.

the video was unlisted. I knew you guys would set me straight before I did anything stupid. Thanks for the help

No problem. There have many people who have bent cylinders by just back dragging with the bucket pointed down. Glad you were able straighten it out

This is what I was talking about. ImageUploadedByTractorByNet1477839742.464648.jpg

You would drive foreword into the roots to break them, it would push on the SSQA plates, but you still have to be careful on bending and breaking stuff. SCUT's and CUT's are not heavy duty backhoes. They cans do a lot just have to know the limitations.

My neighbor has one. he's been begging me to try it. I'll take him up on it. I don't think my little tractor will do much with a tree bucket. I'll try it anyway. You never know.
