Tires For John Deere 650

Hi all folks,
Looking for new tires for My 1985 John Deere 650. It's MFWD, and the rear tire size is 9.5-16, and front tire size is 6-12. I would like to have a semi turf friendly tire, and i would like to have the traction of R1's, but something that won't tear up the yard. I can't find R4's in my size, so im wondering if anyone has been able to put R4's on a 650. I have a diamond tread currently. Please tell me where y'all have got your tires and what kinds you have had good luck with. Thanks!

Where are you located?

What attachments do you run while on your yard?

Have R4's on my 4300 and don't find them a problem at all on my grassed yard. Hold up very good in my woods working on trails and brush hogging, as well as pulling out logs and trees. Some slippery on snow when fresh and forming ice (such as our last 6" storm this past weekend but chains on the front tires cured that problem very quickly).

Someone posted deere 650 turfs in the classifieds below if yours are worn and you need newer. R4s are going to rip up the lawn more than a turf.

I had a 670 in the early 2000's with bar-turf tires...you might want to look in to them

Since then, I've had R-4 Industrials and R-3 Turf tires. The R-4's never did much damage, but not so hot in the snow. The R-3's were pretty good in the snow and I mowed a field using them. But R-3's will puncture more easily, if you run into some situations.
