The standard front turf tires that came with my B7510 are tearing my lawn on turns. Can someone suggest a more turf friendly tire to use on the fronts?

I use R4s - don't try those /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif...

There is a tire outfit in my area that does quite a bit of work with tractor owners and I've talked to them about replacements for my tires. They have a lot of suggestions based on my needs and such. I'd suggest finding someplace where the folks specialize in tractor tires - although this forum may be a good choice /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif. But maybe a commercial lawn mower shop would be able to provide input, too.

First of all - are you mowing in 4WD or with the loader attached? I have one tractor with R1's and another with R4's and neither will mess up the grass unless I'm in 4WD or have the loader on and make sharp turns. If the ground is very moist, I can sometimes cut the wheels hard enough to do some minor damage to the grass.

There have been similar discussions here, and I believe the soil composition also plays a role in this...................chim

Look up a thread entitled "7610 bar tires versus turf tires" on the Kubota board. I posted the same problem and my solution with BAR TURF TIRES. I even posted pictures of the BAR TURFS. I am very happy with them over the standard turfs I had.
