The reality is if you're a Christian, we were born into this world naked.
Why do you need clothes to cover up our God given bodies?
I've made that comment to my wife for Sunday church (as to what to wear), and so far it hasn't fly.
Think about it though, the reason why we are afraid to be naked is beacuse of that dang tree of knowledge.
Then again, Jesus didn't walk around naked...
But he was baptised naked like all Christians apparently were for at least the first 6 centuries, following the pattern of the Jewish mikvah. (Evidence given of many Christian writers remarking about how people were baptised.)
Of course, Peter fished naked (says so in KJV). People likely worked naked a lot out in the fields and such because they often had only 1 piece of clothing. There are numerous mentions of not taking a person's cloak else he have nothing to cover himself with at night, etc.
We've just gotten into a tradition/superstition about nakedness in the last few centuries, and religions have turned it into a "law". Jesus hated that.
