I have a John Deere LT150 (38in deck). Would the Gator blade be suitable for my lawnmower? If so, where do I purchase 1 near Kokomo Indiana.

Thanks JT:

JT - welcome to TBN. I'm not sure if the Gator blade will work with your 150 - I'd guess that Deere makes a mulch blade for your 150 if the Gator blade won't.

Better yet - how about a bagger system?

Gator blades help, but do not do much if you are in tall or thick grass. The best thing you can do is mow more often.

Nor if grass is wet. They work best on dry and will create a dust cloud to follow you around. Think "pigpen" on the Peanuts comic strip. That's been my experience with them anyway LOL.

I try to mow more often, but if the grass clippings get too thick I have a lawn sweeper to use after mowing is done.
