- 2001 John Deere 790 4x4, bar tires
My parents bought a Craftsman YTS 3000 rider late last summer and it works great, but one issue I have with it are the turf tires spin too much sometimes. They have a hill on one end of their yard and the way the yard is, going in circles is the best and most efficient way to cut that end. However, when you start going back up the hill (in clockwise fashion), the left rear tire spins pretty bad. It does even worse if the grass is damp from early morning dew.
I have looked at the Carlisle website and didn't really see what I'm looking for. It seems all I could find for 18-9.50-8NHS size were turf or bar ag tires. We don't plan on using this mower to pull any implements so we really don't want the ag tires.
Anybody know where I might find something that is a little more agressive than turfs in that size??
