05 Kioti CK30HST w/ Prairie Dog backhoe, XN08 mini-X
The deal is just too good, so I am ordering a CT230 today.

The standard tires, according to Bobcat West, are 7-16 front and 9.5-24
rear AGs. That is very strange, considering that I bought a Kioti CK30
with 7-14 and 11.2-24 AGs before. The tires on the Bobcat will substantially
change the lead/lag ratio in 4WD, unless they change the gearing.

Who else got AG tires from Bobcat for their M27 tractor and what sizes
did you get? The M27 includes CT225, CT230, CT235, and the Kioti CK25,
CK27, CK30, CK35.

The Bobcat units for the West are coming from Fargo, ND, BTW.

CT225 7x14 / 11.2x24

Where did you buy yours from, Mark? Some dealer in the Bakersfield
area?

The dealer I am working with quotes the wrong tires. Yours is the 3rd
Bobcat tractor I have heard of that has or has been quoted the correct tires.
I am just gathering evidence.

So Dave, are you getting rid of the CK30? Or just adding another tractor the same size. I was wondering, why so few people go for the 35 hp models. I know that when I was looking, the CK35 was what I was looking at. Always nice to have that little bit more hp.:D

It's insane out there, Brian. More than $6000 off list for certain tractors
from Bobcat. NOT the CT235 (CK35). A new machine is less than used
ones. I am not getting rid of my CK30.....too many custom mods. I will
save the new one for a friend.

Any friend, or are you helping someone out? Price is just to good to pass up isn't it.:D I know that if I hadn't already bought my Mahindra 3215, that I would be buying one of these machines, they are nice. I wonder how long this will go on?

Good luck with the purchase, hope that it all shows up at once.

Bobcat's website says until end of SEP. Many TBNers are reporting lower
prices in other parts of the US, but this unit (with one AUX remote valve,
Bobtach FEL, delivery, and the horrendous "emergency" CA sales tax)
should be comfortably in the mid+ $12K-13K range. After all the smoke
clears.

I have a friend who wants it, but I have no problem holding onto it and
waiting for someone else to snatch it up. I DO want to compare/contrast
it to my Kioti.

This is going to be very interesting to actually have the same tests run by the same person on 2 of the same but different machines.

Will you post the results in both forums?

What a dilemma. I guess I could post it in one and link to the other....

So far, the differences I know about are:

> Bobcat has a different loader with Bobtach and somewhat lower specs
vs. the Kioti's

> Bobcat uses dual air filters; Kioti uses one.

Stay tuned.
