Tire question for JD 4400 \"help\"

Is there a tire that is made, that has the R-1 agriculture tread that can be purchased to fit my R-4 industrial rims,I am in a dilema that as far as I know to make this change from R-4 tread design to R-1 tread design,to make this change I would need to buy R-1 rims,which means I would have to buy new wheel weights since the R-4 rims and the R-1 rims do not accept the same wheelweights. Any suggestions from you tractor "gurus"?

Hillbilly, as I was reading your post, the Gempler's Tire Shop banner kept flashing on the screen. As you know, ags are typically narrower than R4s. Why dont you get your rim size and look at the Gemplers site, as well as Goodyear, Firestone, Michelin, etc. and see whether there is a match.

Separately, wont your dealer give you something in a trade in. Surely, the rims and weights must have a use to him.

I sent a an e-mail to my dealer,if I do not hear from him,I will go see him this Friday when I am off work.
