Just curious, but I am wondering what everyone runs for tire pressure. I have a 25D with FEL and R4's. I am running 30 psi in the front and 25 in the rears. I use the FEL a lot, but when I mow, it seems a little bouncy. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Don

I am no expert but I posted a similar question about a week back Tire pressure
I have a JD 790 which must weigh about the same as your machine and I also use the FEL plenty. My tractor came with 30lbs in the rear and 23lbs in the front. After reading this forum I am now running 13 rear 18 front, with a better ride and traction.

I think the problem is that thes R-4s come on some pretty heavy construction equipment and THAT is what the 30lbs pressure is really meant for. I don't think we need anywhere near max. pressure.

My sidewalls are fine, no obvious deformation.

I tried running 17-20 in the front but when the FEL is full the tires compress almost completely and looked to almost roll off the wheels turning. At 30psi I get just a little squish when full.
