I'm risking looking like a complete dunderhead here, but...

I can't find recommended tire pressures for the R4's on my little TC-18. It has the R4's on it, and nothing is stamped on them or stated in the manual. I haven't read the manual word-for-word, but checked the spec sections and stuff where I thought it should be...

In other news I was wildly successful in backing the tractor out of the garage last night and turning it around, backing back into the garage! Woo-hoo! Well, at least now if we get that big snow, the FEL is pointed out! I got 10 whole minute's seat time now! Yee-hah! ;)

Thanks, all!

My manual states 26.1-37.7 psi front, 26.1-37.7 psi rear.

Look on page 2-28 in the owners manual.

I found my traction improved when I ran my rears a bit soft with 15 psi or so. I don't know if that is an acceptable pressure or not but it works well on my little tractor.

It's common to underinflate tires for a bit more bite.. just as long as you are not ruining the side wall, have enough pressure for the load on the tractor, or ar not risking spinning the tires on the rim.. etc..
