Tire Pressure With And Without A FEL Installed.

/ Tire Pressure With And Without A FEL Installed. #11
It seems to me that one should just routinely run the higher recommended front tire pressure all the time, as if the FEL was on all the time. Since one often times removes the FEL for certain chores, but then reattaches it, one might forget to change the front tire pressure. I suppose the lower tire pressure recommended without the FEL is to give a softer ride, such as in mowing. That's my thinking anyway. Why else then to run the lower pressure? The rear tires on my B have only one recommended psi.

With a loader, I run the fronts at max sidewall or a tick above. But I dont adjust it down when I ocassionally take the loader off either.

Now on a tractor that doesnt have a loader...ever, and is 2wd, lower pressure is fine. It softens the ride and you dont need max sidewall. Cause whoever made the tire didnt know if it was going on a heavy tractor, light tractor, or a tractor with a loader.
