Tire chains on Skid Steer

I just purchased an old New Holland L555 and the tires are pretty worn out. I have some old tire chain sets I found in my shed and am wondering if anyone has had any luck with chains on a skid steer. I realize I will eventually need to buy tires. Just looking to get by while my bank account recovers from the recent purchase. My primary use will be clearing honeysuckle and buckthorn from my 20 wooded acres.

Give it a try. I'd try and keep them pretty tight so they don't get slide off when you pivot!

Looks like I'll need spacers to pull this off... not enough clearance

You could stud the tires....
