Anyone had any luck fitting a set of rear chains on a 3R series? I have a 3039R with turf's and the dealer sold me a set of OFA Easyon 5 chains stating those would fit fine. They don't fit. The chains make contact with the fender where it's mounted. There's very little fender clearance on the 3R series to begin with. Dealer didn't have any other options and I'm thinking chains are not going to work on this tractor.

Yup, close fit, most guys including myself end up running running at least 2” spacers to fit them, I got mine from Motorsport Tech/BORA.

Thanks! Did the 2" spacers provide enough clearance or did you end up going with a wider spacer?

I used the 2" aluminum on my 3720, sorry I wasn't clear on that-was in a hurry when I replied:

Thanks Kennyd. I looked them up and just ordered a set. They can not come soon enough. We just got two early snow storms and getting up my driveway is a bit tough without chains.

Until they come in, put a thousand pounds of ballast on the 3ph. It'l make a big difference.

I bought a 3039R and used it for the last snow storm, but I think I'll need chains. I was considering just chains on the front. How did the spacers and chains work for you? Where did you get get yours and what style of chains are you using. How much will it all cost me when I'm done? Thanks for your help!
