Tips wanted - buying a used diesel

I am looking at a used G1900 (around 850 hours showing) and would appreciate any thoughts on what to look for in a used Kubota diesel.

My initial evaluation was that it starts fine after a few seconds on the glow plugs and smokes moderately until the temperature gauge reaches operating temperture. After that, it only puffs briefly when engaging the mower deck. Fluids all look OK and there is no P.S.O. (pressure squirting out - as opposed to P.S.I., pressure squirting in). Idle and full throttle are smooth and without unpleasant sounds

Anything else that I can look for?
