tiny tach

Hello everyone. I installed the tach last night, and the max rpm's read 3510. I believe the max is 3200. is the tach not calibrated or a bad ground or is the govenor not set right.

Look here it won't help you a lot seems most prople have no use for a tach. Sounds like yours is about right. I do not think the factory settings are precise. My personal feeling is that those that are running full throttle are overreving. Not much but not necessary in fact any thing over about 2800 is giving almost full torque. I almost never run mine over 2600.
