Hi there I am looking to build a quick attach grappel on my JD 2320 200x loader. I am wonder if any of you have any sources for spears or some type of tines that I can purchase to build this bucket with. I am clearing a 3 acre lot and want to be able to skim over the land and pick up brush and branches so I can load them into a burn pile. I looked at a Frontier bucket, but its just too heavy duty for what I want, and it would take up all my loader capacity. Plus I am cheap but very handy with fabrication skills. Any ideas and sources would be appreciated!:D

can you weld something up out of scrap #6 or #8 rebar?
do you have a spring shop nearby that would sell you some scrap 3-5/16" stock so you could make a clamp on brush rake?
another option would be a set of pallet forks with headache rack.

Used, out-of-spec forklift tines. Available at forklift junkyards and repair centers, typically $150-$200 for a pair. Consider the "block tines" which are 2x2 inch instead of 2x4. They will not bend. OSHA rules require removing them from service when they wear down to a certain thickness. Theres still plenty of material left for tractor operations. You can build the rest, to adapt it to your loader arms.
