Ok guys i need the power of the forums on my side here, i'm currently trying to help a customer who called in and is having issues timing the new fuel injection pump he ordered and is installing, this is on a branson 8050 model tractor.
My issue lies in lack of service materials for that tractor, i've contacted everyone i know at Branson and no one can produce the service manual for this model.
If any of you know the timing procedure or has a copy of the service manual i could get a look at i would greatly appreciate it.

I know LouNY has been asking for a service manual for a couple of years too.

I sure hope you find a set Asteral. We have at least one other TBN member that would sure like one.

Maybe S. Korean mother ship (Branson HQ) can produce one?

Maybe " thepumpguysc" here on TBN can help you.

He had loads of knowledge in pretty much an injection pump out there and has helped several people here on TBN.

By the way, I haven't seen any posts from him in a while. Hopefully he is doing well.

I would say look at the procedure for a 7845, same engine and hp.

Of course now you have me curious,
how many hours and what happened to his fuel pump?

Good question.

Asteral, I have a question that you can probably get an answer for.
The starter on a 7845 is that a 3KW starter or a 2.2 KW starter,
my 8050 has a 2.2 KW starter and it needs more cranking power at time,
I just looked up the injection pump procedure in the 7845 manual, it's a bit different then I am used to,
but a few pages further in the manual I noticed it speced a 3KW starter.
I may need to consider changing mine,
I'm not sure I want to go thru my dealer because I sure didn't get treated to any discount for the water pump I just got $435 plus shipping.

I don't know what happened to his fuel pump the gentlemen in question i'm trying to help bought it from auction and is trying to get it up and running i do know it has at least 800+ hours ( as that's where his hours meter quit functioning.). as for the 7845 we have tried following the 7845 procedure but it didn't work out and the timing was not quite right.

and Lou according to Branson the 7845 came with two starter options from the factory one with 2.2KW and one with 3KW; you can interchange either model of starter that's just how they sold them at the time.
this is branson current part number for the starter - EA00004048C

Thanks Asteral,

I'm surprised the 7845 method didn't work, good luck getting info on it.
Kind of kills my thoughts for being able to reference something for my 8050.

Thanks for the part number,
I wonder what the list price for that is going to be.
I am assuming that it is the 3.0kw model
