2008 Deere 4320 eHydro w/400X FEL and Unloaded R4's
Hi All,
After doing alot of research on SCUT's i think i finally found the right one! It is a 2005 Kubota BX2230 with a FEL 60"MMM and almost brand new Woods Rotary Cutter, for 8,900. I have been saving and doing alot of tractor work the the past year. Our small Deere L110 is not even close to big enough to mow 5.5 Acres every week or two. I have all of the money in hand and i'm ready to buy it! So what do you think? Good deal? Here are a few pictures.....

lawn mower etc.

If you really want more iron its up to you; but you will spend less on a Caroni 4 foot flail mower with side shift to use with for the larger John Deere and buy a 48 inch Land Pride reverse rotation tiller for the larger John Deere and save the rest for a college nest egg.

(my opinion only)

:confused2:

That looks like it will get the job done! That will out preform your L110 and with the FEL and the brush hog, you can use it for smaller jobs that the Deere is to big for. Congratulations man!

Not a bad deal. With the MMM the woods is not needed -- I'd sell it or try to get a lower price.

I have a 2004 BX2230 with 60" MMM and FEL. Really works good to mow my 6 acres.

It sounds like a good price to me.

As to the rotary cutter, I don't know about your situation, but in spite of owning two six foot cutters and two ten footers, I still use the four footer on my BX.

I have a 4' rotary cutter that the dealer talked me into, but there are still many times I wish I had gone ahead with the little 42" that I was going to buy. I use my cutter a lot for trimming around the edge of my field, and there are many places the 48" is just a hair big to fit between trees, etc. Now if I were cutting a field down, I sure would go for the 4' one on mine.
