It must be so nice to work in non rocky soil.

It is but it can be very Sandy down here in a lot of places. Where are you located?

Right in the middle of the rocky mountains. At my cabin, I have to make my own dirt with a screener because dirt is hard to come by.

Do you guys stay fairly busy out there? Doesn't seem like much would grow with the dry climate?

Cool video and certainly fun for us equipment geeks but I would think potential customers would want to see more before/after with a bit less "during".

Mulching must be a regional thing, not sure I've ever seen one around here...

I agree with RobS, that before and after photos and videos are good for perspective customers. What you have makes me want to run out and get a mulcher.

Take establishment shots of land to be cleared, then after shots. (Maybe a time lapse showing a hillside getting cleared from an adjoining field?)

Potential customers like to see equipment work, so an action camera aimed right on what is getting mulched with a broader shot showing what is getting done in the context of the landscaping job is good with a couple of a quick cuts.

On the other hand I now firsthand that it is a monumental PTA to video when working, and so well done!

I've been thinking about getting a real pro-level remote microphone so that when I'm shooting shots off of a tripod and working, I can provide commentary as I go. You could do the same if you get into and depreciate or write off the cost of the equipment.

The company banner at the bottom obscures some of the video. Maybe you could lower it or take it out of some of the scenes? Also agree with others on before and after shots.

Yep, more before and after and slow down the jerky fast motion just a tad. I got kinda dizzy. :)

MC, roughly how many acres per day can that machine do while only taking down say 3-4" trees, no big ones?

Thanks,

Thanks for the input guys. We've already done the before and after method so this new approach was intentional. The speed of the time Lapse was the effect that we were going for so it wouldn't be more of the same. Not to say that it can't be improved upon but I think we captured what we set out to do. This was mainly a compilation of clips displaying machine performance, services, and ability. I'll put some before and after shots in my next video when we cover a project.
How much can it clear in a day? 1 acre if you have a lot of trees. Light brush is 2-3 acres a day with the cimaf head.

Nice video. Reference the comment about rocky soil; my complaint is slope and steepness.
