Tiller tiller or pulverizer?

FWIW...When I first started seriously looking at tractors...I looked at a yanmar that came with a pulverizer ...I asked the seller what it was used for and was told that it was for breaking up large clods left by a plow or disk...

I had passed a disk over my garden area 5 times trying to till in a bunch of leaves that I had added for organic matter.

What diameter pans? How much weight bearing on each pan? Notched or smooth pans? Spacing; 7-1/2" or 9"?

I'm with Gary on the multiple passes. I've rented a tiller, disc and mould board plow, and I (personally speaking) based on the work I've done, preferred the tiller. So I think that pretty much narrows the decision down to a tiller for me. Glad I asked you guys. Thank you.

Here are some photos of it when I brought it home. It is 8 foot wide and weighs around 1500# with that 6' long double railroad track on it, 6 scalloped blades per gang, I haven't measured them but about 20" diameter I would guess. When I drop it down on soft soil, it cuts to the axles and my LSP7010 wont pull it in 2 WD, have to shift to 4 WD for the traction.
