I have a new 3 point tiller that shipped with empty gear cases. Manual calls for 80W-90 but I have a supply of Rotella HD 85W-140 that I plan to use. Can't think of any reason it wouldn't be a better oil in this application, but maybe I'm over looking something. Any opinions?? Thanks

As long as you have on hand-why not?
Your warmer clinate will be fine with it.
Good Luck!

+1 Primary thing is don't run stuff that is too thick or too thin for the climate you're operating in. You should be fine.
