tiller belt

I have a 73 129 cub cadet hydro i was needing a belt length for the tiller attachment i went to tractor supply but they didnt know what i was talking about so can I use a string to get a measurement

If that's the long belt that runs full length under the tractor, would use something like 1/4 or 3/8 dia rope to more closely approx the belt cross-section... and hope that the belt dealer will let you change out for a bigger/smaller size a time or two to get it all right. And if you can get one of the pulleys loose that the new belt will be riding in, take it with you - it will help the dealer to get you the right cross-section size.
If all else fails, got to the Cub Cadet website - find their corp service dept ph # - call 'em.

Try a AX144 belt.

i figured i could use a piece of rope but wasnt sure about weather it needed to big or not and i wanted to be as close as possible so i wouldnt have to return it just in case they wont give me my money back

alright ill try ax144 cause i cant find anything on the belt for the pulley cause i know you can mount it on the front to for a snow plow but you dont use a pulley you use a shaft
