Good deal! It seems like just yesterday that you were frustrated about how bad the grapevines were. It always gives a sense of satisfaction when you turn fallow ground into something decent.

The guy I bought the rotovator from, used it in Maine on his vacation home. He chained the back door wide open. I left it like that and realized why he did.
When I hit big rock it kicks it out the back instead of churning it round and round.

Good job, I till, then spread 30 yards of compost and till a few more times. I didn't get to do that this fall, way too wet.

I had to get rid of the big rocks so I went through it this morning by hand filling my loader bucket and made a pile
Then I spread my compost Mushroom compost is kind of hard to come by in a the Dump Truck load.
Everyone has these little bags. I could only get 12 or 14 yards

Thanks. After reading that I think I gotta till more. This patch of land was so dense and hard that grass had trouble growing there. That's one of the reasons I'm amending it
