Tier 4 strategy for the 5220R?

I operate my tractor at 2000 RPM consistently per these recommendation. My only concern is the clutch. I try to start out just above idle until I get the clutch out then ramp the throttle. Is this a good plan?

Good move. Don't want to have high rpm when clutching. Just as long as the dpf gets hot often . Make it work..

I agree. I think the big thing is to work the tractor, not just idle it down the driveway to get the mail. There are times that it is still prudent to use lower rpms.

Worked mine hard enough the burn a bit more paint off the exhaust, pulled a 12 foot Amco disc with my 5220!
