Ticking noise

I was in the process of sorting out a fuel blockage so haven't yet had the opportunity to investigate this properly.

But when I turn the key to the 1st position there is a ticking noise coming from the dash. If anyone can give me any clues I'd appreciate it.

First thought would be the hour meter. Mine has a light tick to it.

I've never heard this before. I took the clocks out recently to access the fuses and wondered if I might have disturbed something.

As I said I've not yet had the chance to investigate fully but, once I've sorted out my fuel tank I'll have a look. Thanks for the direction.

Nothing to worry about. My LS does it also, it's either the fuel pump and/or glow plug relay.

Thanks. Can't see it being the fuel pump though. Glow plug relay is a possiblity.
