Thumb for L-39

What thumb do you use for the L-39 and L-48.

I have used the Amulet thumb and it seems entirely to big for the L-39 machine but it works. I have read here on the boards that someone has used a thumb for the U25 excavator on the L-39. Looking for opinions from dealers on ease of install.

I am also needing to do one on the L48 ...suggestions on thumb for the L-48???

If there are multi line dealers here????? I was considering using the thumb from a John Deere 110TLB on the L39 & L48....has anyone here done that yet?

Here's where I bought mine. Great quality, good service and a lot of choice.

I wasn't sure about size on mine. I sent them the make & model of my BH and a few measurements they asked for.
You'd think my thumb was custom made.

I put a thumb on my L48, extra wide thumb for rock work, thumb is on same pivot pin as bucket which is very important. Also, having a wide thumb, as opposed to KX model excavators stock thumbs which I have as well, it allows you to close the thumb on a big scoop of dirt and load trucks with your bucket curled out for that extra reach. When working with large rocks and and a skinny thumb, it wants to pivot the rock one direction of the other. Addington equipment in Chichester, NH did mine. $3-4K for L48 thumb professionally installed. Best money spent.

Excavator Thumbs by USA Attachments

I have A USA Attachments MT830 on my L39 and currently have on order a custom HT4214 pin on bucket hydraulic thumb for my new to me Komatsu PC75UU-2E. Total cost with installation will be about $3000 as the excavator is already plumbed.
I hope I like the new toy as much as my L39.
