The jobs that I have used my DK45SECab for follows: FEL, Bucket work w/three weld chain hooks on an angle iron reinforcing and piraha blade, pallet forks, big bale spike, tree shear, 66" grapple; 3PT, 6' box blade, 6' tiller, 7' blade, big bale spike, pallet forks, 200 gal sprayer, WH-8H wood chipper, 6' finish mower; PTO implements, 7' brush mower, NH 269 baler; drawbar, hay rake. Because of the Cab:) and HST the tree shear and grapple are the most rewarding and enjoyable tasks and I can comfortably do in the winter. The tractor has been in the shop once for loose A/C belt, my excuse to have the dealer add beet juice and the second rear remote. The next oil change will be at 600 hrs since I am using a 150/300/600 hr oil/filter schedule since the hour meter on the SE is clock time instead of tach time. I have added five items to the tractor: a bar in front of the front axle, 3/4" plywood board under the center of the tractor, a little piece of wood to one of the inside door latches that makes it much easier to open, pat's 3PT quick connects and a PTO extension.
Thanks to all that post all the great tips and ideas, it adds a lot of value to the tractor.

Is the plywood under the center to prevent damage from brush? Any pics?

Like your carry all, did you do a build thread or could you post some more pics of that?

Can you go into more detail about your clock vs. tach time?
Doesn't Kioti take that into consideration when they wrote the maintenance schedule in the manual?

That is a good question. Clock time vs. Tach time... Some tractors adjust the speed that the time accrues on the "clock" by how fast the engine is turning. In other words lets say at engine idle the time will not accrue as fast as at say 2000 rpm. However on the Kioti clock, it is simply a clock, it runs at the same speed and time accrues at the same rate at idle or at any speed. Does Kioti engineering and schedule changes take this into account.. I dunno.

My understanding the DK series pre SE version had TACT total times and with the SE they are clock total time and the maintenance time didn't change. Also part of my decision to extend the oil change intervals is based on my New Holland with 300hr intervals between engine oil changes. On the carry all which is in the picture with the Woodmax chipper all I did was to cut up the angle iron pallet that the chipper came shipped in and weld up some trays on either side of the chipper to hold chains saw etc. I will try to take more pictures and add some later.

I actually prefer the "stop watch" type of hour meter. Turn the key on, it starts ticking, turn the key off, it stops. Especially on a CUT or small tractor that primarily does work at less than half throttle you can clock a LOT or hours before the rpm based hour meter will indicate it's time to change oil, etc.
