Thread Not Updated With Latest Posting

Last night, I responded to a thread entitled "Chickens and Things Related" in the Rural Living Section. Checking today, I see my post and pics as the last entry. However, on the index, it shows the last entry as the one that immediately preceded mine. This would not alert others that a new entry had been made to this thread (not that my entry is all that important). Just curious.

If the index is still showing a thread from yesterday as the most recent, it is probably being loaded from your browser cache (stored files). If you refresh the page it should display properly. Right now the most recent thread is displaying properly for me.

Thanks for the reply. I don't think that is the problem as I noticed it at work this AM (using Safari on a Mac) and I see the same thing this evening at home (IE on a PC). I've attached a screen capture image of what I see. ON the "Chickens and things related" thread title, when I look to the right hand column it shows the last post was by Tororider on 3/22. When I open the thread and go to the last page and scrool down, my post (with attachments) is actually the last one entered. Again, no big deal. Some folks were asking to see brooders and I posted some pics of the brooder I just completed. Without the update, those who had been reading this thread might not see them. That is all. I may reply to myself to see if that fixes it.

Edit... OK, I replied to myself and this updated the thread title. However, after I I entered the post, I received an "Internal Server Error" as seen in the second attachment. Being the obedient person that I am, I am hereby informing the site administrator.

This just happened to me today, I hit submit reply and the post did not go up on the thread, in my case it was the 31 or 41 post and should have started a new page, when you open the heading it showed that I was the last poster to that thread but even if I clicked on the go to last post button it wouldn't come up even after refreshing.
After a couple of hours and a few more posters my post was up on the new page.
Refreshing didn't work even closing my browser and logging back in didn't do it. I figured that it wasn't lost since it did show that I posted, I think it got jammed up on the receiving end.

shows the latest reply from DrRick at 10:59 PM but when you go to the thread it is nowhere to be seen, the last shown post was at 5:31 PM.

Yep, interesting puzzle. I have 10 posts per page and when I go to the link above, it shows to have 2 pages and I'm on page 1, but nothing I do will get me to page 2 so all I can see is the first 10 posts.
