Buying Advice Thoughts on buying a 1998 MF 1220?

Going tomorrow to look at a 1998 Massey Ferguson 1220 4x4 compact tractor with loader and HST. It has around 1000 hours and the seller (a tractor dealer) states that everything works as it should with no leaks or noises. Price is $8000.

Thoughts on this tractor? Price seem fair?

Anything to look out for?

Anyone know specs on the loader?

This will be my first tractor for our little 8 acre homestead.

I would ask your dealer what the story is around parts availability. Can you still get parts?
