We were not aware that political ads were being shown. We have now blocked all political ads.

They do a great job to take the unwanted ads down.Ive seen some people try to advertise in a thread,and they make several of the posts. Before I get to report it they are taken down..:thumbsup:

If anyone is interested, just a little more background, the ad I quoted in my original post popped up as one of those context sensitive Google ads in the banner just about the bulletin board. I suspect that you would only see it if your profile contained a reference to Washington State or if you were in a thread that dealt with something in Washington State. It shows how powerful these internet ads are in terms of filtering to their intended audience.

google is real slick on ad placement sometimes you dont even know its ad driven. i just wish i got a bunch of stock at the ipo
