thinking of selling ranger for new 570 sportsman

any one had expeience with the new 570, gonna go from a sxs to a convetional quad.

I have a 2010 Sportsman 550 EFI. The 570 EFI looks to be the same except for more HP (total of 44 HP, I think.)
No problem with mine so far. The sxs is more like driving a car. I tried a different brand when I was looking a few years ago. I didn't have a need for a sxs for occasional use in the woods for hunting so the quad was all I needed. The quad of course has a narrower width for going through the woods as well.

thats why im thinking of going smaller that think is just huge and heavy when i get stuck it is a real chore to get out

I have the 570 RZR. While I chose to go the SXS route I can comment on the engine. It is quick and nimble. The low end is great. I would assume the quad has the same or similar prostar transmission/cvt. I have not had any problems carrying the weight of the RZR, 300# of people (my son and I), as well as towing at goose hunting trailer that weights perhaps 6-700#. Of course we pull it in low range. I was actually thinking the other day the the next quad I get will be the Polaris 570. I love it that much (as well as the ease of filter/maintenance of the same engine on both). For the fun side it has no problem carrying us across the hayfield at 40-58 (rev limiter) We rarely go above 35 as that feels like flying.

When I was researching I used the RZR sister site to this. There is a forum category dedicated to the 570. It looks like people are getting them for about 5400 plus tax best price.
