I called Dealer and told them to install a block heater when Tractor comes in and also the rear wiper, I had asked about a rear box blade and the mid PTO but decided to wait a while before getting those 2, Would need the PTO next winter so maybe sometime this summer I'll get it on.

Just curious, are you getting a front snowblower? I flirted with that but decided I am going with a 3pt blower, probably inverted but not sure. I don't want to lose the use of my bucket in the winter.

Can they not coexist? The LS I looked at on the dealer lot had a snowblower, but it looked like you would just need to pop the blower off and you could put the loader back on.

No. The blower has the subframe and PTO shaft (blower side) that has to come off (again, blower side). If you were only switching them 3 or 4 times all winter then maybe I'd think about it (probably not

The dealer told me 10 minutes to attach and another 10 minutes to detach. I doubt it is that quick and easy, I have a tough enough time with the rear PTO...I am dreading a mid PTO. Doing it on my back in the cold. I am considering a SSQA blower from Bercomac but it is more money and has a gas engine. Pluses and minuses with that concept for sure.
I think I can get by without the FEL for the winter, so putting the blower on in October and keeping it on until April might be what I wind up doing. The FEL is a nice to have in the winter but a blower is a necessity. At least in my situation

We have a BX2660 which uses the same system to attach the front blade and 10 minutes sounds about right if you take your time and leave the subframe on.
It generally takes me about an hour to drop/clean the mid mount mower, remove the grill guard and install the front blade.

I called the Dealer and he told me the same 10 min thing, even if its a lazy 30 min thing I would be ok with it, I normally only use my tractor in winter if I need to move banks back like this winter and If I have the blower this shouldn't be a problem. We normally use our F350 and a 8'6" V blade but this year our long drive way was a problem and even by our house it was getting tight. Next year use pickup until banks start to rise and the tractor.

Maybe this set up is different. When I was looking at tractors the Kubota, LS and Massey dealers told me it wasn't something I wanted to keep taking on and off. They said once I knew how to do it, it would be a 30 to 45 minute job. I don't have a heated garage and it is too **** cold here in Maine for me to be laying on the ground messing with tools to make the swap.
My wife called me today, she went and paid for our new XR4140HC in Tomahawk, said it looked good, they will deliver late next week, after she got home she used our Bobcat CT230 and after about 10min she shut it off and it wouldn't restart, I asked if she heard a click when turning key and she said no, I had her cycle key a few times and then it clicked and then it started, must be a fuel rail issue as it would turn over. 1 more thing to check when I get home. Hopefully new tractor will eliminate these issues
