It'd be a lot easier if I could pick my groceries up 8 or so feet maybe more. Was considering a wood build bucket extender. I've put the bags in the bucket and it works but one never knows if one has poison ivy on the bucket.
So I'm thinking an extender. It's groceries not rocks, so it can be fairly light duty

Ever seen one?

Pallet forks. I use them more than my bucket. Just toss your stuff on a pallet. Way more universal than something for that 1 specific purpose. If you want to be fancy, put some sides on a pallet. I bolted some old truck bed toolboxes to a pallet for sides & made my "fencing pallet". I jeep a pile of tools & construction supplies on it for fencing & other stuff away from the house or shop.

Seems like a lot of extra effort to use tractor to lift groceries. How about small electric winch operated "lift" on porch to do what is needed...

If your existing bucket has enough space, why not just drape it in a blue tarp to cover the mud, sticks, etc and retain it with a couple of magnets until it's loaded? Faster than retrieving/mounting/dismounting/stashing something purpose built and it's not in the way if space is limited. Yeah, but not as satisfying....

Or a crank up lift with a drill on it:

linky
About $3K
Clamp on pallet forks would be cheaper.
Heck, even if you don't have SSQA you could probable add it and then get good pallet forks cheaper!

Clamp on forks and a nice pallet, maybe even one of those plastic jobs.
