Thinking about buying a Tahoe

Is it a 1500 or 2500?
Or is there any difference in the comfortable ride?
1500 4x4
All the factory options.
Leather seating
Seat heaters
Dual climate control
Separate rear heat/ac
etc...

It really is a comfortable ride.

Don't ask about gas mileage. 🙃

I have a 2018 Escalade .. basically the same think as the Denali trim in the GMC .. Yukon /Tahoe. It has the 6.0 and it's been flawless after 55k miles. And gets 19 mpg. Had to replace one wheel bearing in the right front and a battery. That's it. I'd buy a nice Tahoe without hesitation if I was in the market,

To the OP, the Tahoe/Yukon is an excellent choice for an all-around utility vehicle. Mine is 4WD. I can get 7' lumber in behind the front seats, 8' if I lay it on the console. The Yukon is my back up towing vehicle for the utility trailers, up to 8100#. My biggest bumper pull is my 16' trailer at 7000#, so no problem. Has the Max Tow package so it has an exhaust brake and integrated trailer brake controller. It has 6 passenger capacity, although the 3rd row seats are always down for hauling cargo. They are power fold so putting them up is no problem, just push a button. With about 2500 miles on it, I am getting a combined 22 MPG, mostly in town driving. Best I have done on a road trip is 30 MPG. After filling it with diesel up it shows 525 miles available. Determination for travel distance between stops is me, not the vehicle.
I wish SUV makers would make the front passenger seat fold flat so that 8’ or maybe even 10’ (diagonally) boards would fit inside.

I though Mrs. HD was going to get another one, but she just decided to extend the warranty on the X5, so we might be waiting a few more years.

I measured the loading space in the Suburban with the two rows of rear seats folded down, and it looks like 8' lumber would fit.

If the front seat folded flat you’d be able to get 12’ boards inside. 😜
