Several, all used and abused.
Thought I'd share a few pics of some things we've seen around our place.

Cool pics Eddie. Enjoyed seeing them but I would have been out of there as soon as I saw the snake. No snakes here in Newfoundland that I've ever seen

Good luck working on your goals. Hope you reach them.

Nice pics of your "guests" Eddie. Hey! You'd better be careful. There's poison oak in that first picture.;)

Thank you for your kind words.

That group of hogs have sort of become the regulars. We run into them fairly often and have been watching them for awhile now. A few months ago, they were mostly ten to twenty pound piglets, now they are closer to 50 to 60 pounders with two momma pigs that are probably aroudn 120 to 140 pounds.

There's a nice boar that we're trying to get that's pretty regular in the evening, but we haven't seen him during daylight hours. Then there are other groups of sows and piglets that pass through as well as a few other boars. Steph has killed five hogs now and is starting to get more like me in not wanting to shoot them, but to hunt for a specific animal and/or let the small ones go and wait for a bigger one. I personaly enjoy seeing how close I can sneak up on them, but usually don't have a camera with me when I do this.

We have hogs, snakes and poison ivy here in fairly large numbers. We saw a small rat snake down on the dam of the lake last week, but that was nothing to the copper head that I posted the picture of. Same size, but one was much scarier then the other!!!!

For whatever reason, we're seeing all sorts of mushrooms. They are everywhere, and they are all different. Steph decided to take some pictures of them because of all the detail that they have and just how odd some of them look.

Eddie, you are one of my favorite posters. The mushrooms reminded me of a story.

This "well to do" lady was planning a fancy dinner party. She wanted stuffed mushrooms on the menu and was heading to the store. Her husband informed her that there were mushrooms all over the woods behind the house.

She was concerned about them being posion so she fixed a small serving and called Buster, the dog, to see if he would eat them. Thinking the animal would know if they were posion and not eat them. Well Buster gobbled them down.

The lady wanted to be extra safe so she watched Buster for a couple of hours and everything seemed Ok. So a large platter of mushrooms was prepaired and as the guest arrived they all began to enjoy the mushrooms along with the other "fixins".

Just after the main course was finished the cook came running in from the kitchen and exclamed "BUSTER IS DEAD!"

Well the hostess jumped up and dialed 911 said send all the medical help you can with stomach pumps and hurry.

After a couple of hours, pumping out every stomach that had eaten and thing were calming down, the cook came back in and said;

"That truck that ran over Buster, did not even slow down!"

Gotrocks reminded me of another mushroom story-

Two little old ladies were discussing their lives, when one asked the other, " You seem very wealthy. How did you come by your money?"

"My first husband was pretty well off, and left me enough to live on."

"What did he die from?"

"Eating poisonous mushrooms."

"How awful! Is that where you got all your money?"

"Oh no, my second husband was richer, and left me enough to live in style."

"What did he die from?"

"Oddly enough, from eating poisonous mushrooms."

"That is unusual, to put it mildly. Did you ever re-marry?"

"Yes, and my 3rd husband was the richest of them all. He left me a very wealthy woman."

The other lady was starting to get suspicious, and asked, "I suppose he died from eating poisonous mushrooms, too?"

"Oh no, dearie, he died from a fractured skull."

"How on earth did that happen?"

"He wouldn't eat his $*&@^$ mushrooms!":D
