For the HST, use Kubota Super UDT and Kubota parts for the filters. Done deal.

The bolt head for the transmission strainer (on my B7800) is a 26 mm size. Had I known this before hand, I could have zipped right on through the maintenance exercise. I had to stop and go find a socket that size.

That sounds very fair to me.

Must not have been fair enough, seller changed his mind as I was getting ready to go grab a rental trailer to pick it up.

Kind of feels like getting punched in the gut after many months of waiting for the right deal. Hopefully something else will come along before the end of the summer!

Hanging in there . I finally found a B7500 at a local dealer ( I almost lost out on it too luckily i was first with a deposit ) . I missed out or came to late on to many craig list deals it's frustrating ! Have you tried Tractorhouse.com i saw some okay deals on there with private sellers .

Thanks for the encouragement, there's definitely at least one advantage of buying new.

Thanks for the pointer on tractorhouse.com as well. It would crop up on google searches but I'd never tried a focused search from it. A few encouraging hits on tractors that are too big for my place. Just have to add it to my morning coffee shopping adventure.
