Stolen tractors disguised to avoid detection, police allege - Prince Edward Island - CBC News

Compact MF repainted and decaled as New Holland to throw police off. CAT dealership there was MF dealer as well, so was likely new machine at the time.

I few years ago, there was a stolen NH that was repainted to be a JD. They also changed the decals.

I once had to move a parts car I bought a hundred miles but it was the wrong color to match my good cars ownership. So I painted it with school type Tempa paint and just hoped it wouldn't rain.

Pretty clever. I bet that they got picked up for some other crime and the cops did some investigating of the tractor at that time. From a distance youd never know. I somewhat "know" tractors and it fooled me at first, until I got a look at the headlights/grill area. They even painted inside the hood. Looking a little more and the cab isnt right, but at first glance, even if the cops walked by it, theyd never know.

A Blue 1635..... Smart idea, not cheap either.
