They can\'t find there driver?

ok my tractor was going to be delivered two days ago and the second sending unit was bad /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I call at 11am today and the driver will be back in 1 hr and then be out with my tractor...
At 3:30 I call and they say he has not come back yet and they have not seen him...

well they just called and say he wrecked the truck and it will be monday....So here is the question. Do I buy this story?
They are open sat so I asked if they can come out then and I get "I don't think so" /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Just call them back and tell them if they can't get your tractor back to you, then you'll just send them the bills for the cost of having to hire someone else to do the work you need to get done. I just called my salesman and he is the mangaer also and told him if the driver "truly" got in a wreck then Monday is fine and I understand but I dove by several dealers to buy from them and if they got behind today with rental deliveries they should have let me know and be honist about it and that was fine.... But it it has rained and I have a 10k lawn mower and can't cut my yard so if his service department is BSing me then we need to talk. I also stated that I called this morning and if there was a delivery problem no matter what it was they should have let me know a long time before now.

the manager was pissed that they lied to me and I will have it in the morning and they will never do that again. I thinks someone is going to get a chewing out
Like I told him if the were just too busy and told me that then that was one thing but this did not sound right that's why I called him
Anyhow i get it in the moring and he said he himself was going out to be sure the leak was fixed.
So I guess I am happy ....sort of /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

My dealer is open on Saturday too........but no deliveries on Saturday, the driver works 40 hours a week now /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif since Bud got promoted.

Manager made the delivery and form they way he talked some people at his shop got a good talking to (maybe more he was not happy with what they did at all)
