One of the interesting things of being on this site, is seeing how weather is across the States, and even internationally.
I was born, grew up, and have always lived just outside the Sacramento, Ca area. This whole idea of summer rain is obscure to me, because in our Mediterrainian climate, we do not get rain after early June, till late October(happens occasionally, like maybe once every summer or two).
For a number of years, I used to deal with a company in Brookfield Ct. I would call in the middle of August, when it was 105F, hot, dry, and brown here; they would have 60F temps with rain! I know why old Farmall Cubs and such with moweres are popular back there; they have to mow all summer; I am done mowing. Right now, it is a fire hazard to field mow.
