I was wasting this afternoon surfing the internet waiting for the Texas A & M game and I found yet another brand of tractors to fuel the never-ending discussion of "Who made what??" & "Where is that from??"

Here's the link:
http://www.valpadana.it/uk/index.htm
Which is part of the Argo Industrial Group
http://www.argospa.com/
If you click on the SEP logo there, you get some very similar BCS copies.
http://www.sep.it/sitoinglese/index.htm
If you click on the Laverda logo
http://www.laverdaworld.com/ there, you get some combines that are spittin images of the CaseIH rotaries.
I guess the European manufacturing facilities are nothing compared to the Asian scene.

[Reminds me of when Chevrolet got caught putting Buick or Oldsmobile engines in their cars.]

You know, the 1330 HST-REV is a pretty cool concept! I wonder if that is 4 wheel steer, or articulated?

Also, I wonder who handles those tractors in the usa?

Not that it's really on topic, but I'm pretty sure it was the other way around. I think Olds was using Chevy engines.

That's kind of like opening the hood of my mothers 2002 Lincoln and seeing it has a Ford engine in it. <font color="blue"> </font>

Valpadana and SEP are part of the ARGO group, which also owns McCormick and Landini. McCormick sells models built by the Landini, Valpadana and SEP lines.

As for Laverda, it was formerly owned by Fiat. When they bought out Case-IH a few years back, part of the agreement with the European Union in order to get the purchase/merger approved, was that they had to sell off the Laverda operations. ARGO bought it. That's also how ARGO came to own the McCormick brand and the factory in England.
