International 1066 with Year Round Cab, Kioti DK 45S with Cab, 451 Loader
Got the IH 1066 home today, sat it beside the Kioti and there is a bit of difference.:) 38 pto hp vs. 140, 6500 lbs vs. 12,500 lbs, 1 yr vs. 34 yrs, and so on.
The IH runs smooth and quiet, the left front tire has a bit of a wobble, other than that it seems to work great but will know for sure when I start plowing this spring. The biggest thrill of the morning was unloading the two loaded rear tires and rims off the trailer, was a bit of a chore for the Kioti.

that thing is a MONSTER! What are you going to plow with it this winter? No, I don't mean snow! haha Driveway, road, etc.

Nice tractor. What is the wobble? Bearing? Ball Joint? It is probably the one think I would at least want to find out what's causing it.
Enjoy

Ditto what andy ma said.

if it is a wheel bearing.. get it tightened up before it eats the axle or comes off. Might be a 'wrench' fix..

If it is the hub.. still gotta fix it...

If you are lucky it will be something simple like the aforementione dbearing, or a sector backlash adjustment.. etc..

Nice machine.. I'm fond of 'old power'...

I've never seen an old 2wd ag tractor that didn't have wobbly front wheels. I just assumed it was a feature.:D

But, that is an awesome looking tractor and it looks like it is in incredible shape. Very cool.

Wobbly wheels, ahhh the joys of kingpins.

Another common cause of a wobbly front wheel is a bent rim which can be repaired. My neighbor recently bent his front rim on his Case backhoe and it was repaired for $40 --- cheap compared to new rim costing over $200.

That'd be my guess as to the cause. Big heavy tractors are rough on rims.

I have a soft place for those IHs. I worked my way through college on my uncle's farm. He was a "binder" guy and he had 1566, 1466, 1066, 906, 806, 350, H, and M along with a td14. Made alot of black smoke with them.
