Naw, we're just tractor idealists seeking a land where all little tractors regardless of color, horsepower or country of origin can dig, plow, cut, push, pull and whatever in peace and harmony.
My wife is an "on call" nurse at a local hospital. She mentioned to me the other day that suicide rates for kids in the 18 to 25 age group has jumped dramatically in the last few months. All this crap in the news can wear on a person. I truly believe that we are given hardships that we can survive and not to lose hope. Not trying to add any religious context to this but these times will make us think of what's important.
Suicide rates in that age group are going up because these kids heads have been filled with bullsnot by the academic community.
Kids go thru high school and come out convinced they will be earning 18 dollars an hour to start. The group that goes thru college come out expecting jobs that will start at 50 grand a year because some yahoo counselor told them they were worth that, as long as they took the right courses.
By the time reality sets in, these kids finally figure out that all the self esteam crap was just crap, and they are in a hopeless situation. The system has completely failed these kids, and not equipped them to deal with failure.
