Now, IH3444 here tells us Chuck Mangione, who admittedly I know more from King of the Hill has passed!
I've got to say I think the last celebrity passing to hit me as hard as Ozzy was Joe Diffie.

It's gonna be different for everyone. For me, it was Neil Peart, my childhood hero. RIP.

When an artist hits that nerve and makes that connection, then to know there will be no more, it's not something I quite understood until my own "heroes" so to speak started passing.
Ditto here. Peart was a double whammy for me. Rush was my brother Thomas' favorite band. When Neil passed away it was like losing Tom all over again.
