Yes... your body takes a tremendous beating.

Dad was US heavyweight champion and retired from the ring... too many friends injured for life and a few passed too early and some shortly after being injured.

Dad was originally in Football and suffered a knee injury.

When asked why he switched to boxing he said when the other guy hits you... you can hit back...
