I remember when they fell from the highwire. 1962 as I recall.

I was eating lunch in Charlotsville Va once, business gig, very very friendly customers so always fun.

2 tables away sat Mohammad Ali and his crew. Maybe 1990?There were 2-3 white guys in suits, a big black guy who didn't do nothin and a younger black gal, basically caring for Ali.

No one in the restaurant bothered him and after a minute you kinda forgot he was there.

I never took my eye off him, with out being too obvious, and his gal friday gave me a big smile.

All I remember is, he took the top off the salt shaker, dumped out the salt and then spread it out trying to balance the salt shaker on its edge, in the spilled salt. I've tried it.

He was in his own world and didn't look uncomfortable or stressed etc. Rumor was, he had either just bought or just sold a huge farm in the area.

These were taken in Boston recently, at the Granary Burial Ground, one of Boston's city cemeteries. Does it seem that these historical graves are somewhat neglected and unkempt?
