Interesting how we honor people we know nothing about as if they were saints or greats. I know a guy really well that served in the secret service on the Carter detail(as well as others). He says that the Carters were just awful people to all the staff, especially her. He said she was by far the worse he ever worked for. He said they used to take supplies that came through for the Habitat homes especially things like toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning supplies. What a bunch of nuts we vote into political office in this country.
