Hello ! Fellow P T'ers.
To me this part of the P T became a mystery, and mysteries need to be solved. In case you also wondered, here it is.
It's hundreds of years since I was introduced to Practical Drawing, probably a couple of years before I finished school at age 14, so please forgive me if I have forgotten some of the fundamentals of Isometric Drawing. CAD in those days referred to a dishonorable young man ! ! ! ! !

Hi ! 46Mac,
I am no smarter than the people, books, or other avenues, who answer the many questions I may ask. In this case, I could have called Tazewell, but maybe, I would have wanted more answers, so I decided to ask the muffler. What's inside you, how did you get assembled, I know as a muffler you are supposed to lessen the noise, but how? This is what I found. I have to explain the letters in squares, are the different openings ( area ) throuigh which the gasses have to pass. A little like people trying to leave a building.
A Two exhaust ports - 1.57000 sq ins. / B 1 1/2 inch square tubing - 1.48414 sq ins. / C 3/4 inch pipe 9 open at this end only .44156 sq ins. / D twenty 5/32 inch holes - .38305 sq ins. / E is the blocked end of the pipe / F 4 cut off corners
3/8 x3/8 inches - .56250 / G the outlet () tail pipe ) - 1.22656 sq ins.
All these different sized 'Doorways ' create quite a dilemma, but I'm sure the engineers amongst us can have quit ea ball with these numbers. I know I'm not smart enough to figure them out.
At least I know how it was built, roughly how it works, etc. I think the tail end cap was the last piece of the assembly process. I feel a little wiser, not smarter. HOWZAT.
Sorry, but I'll be back. Bill.
