Having grow frustrated with a complete lack of room on my BX1860 I set out to create the greatest storage system known to man. After more minutes of R&D than I can count I developed the prototype you see here. It had been in validation for about two months so I thought I would share my design. Production models will use a Home Depot bucket to better match the color scheme. As soon as I get time to pop over to Sarnia, Ontario I will see if I can find appropriate materials to construct a metric version. I can now haul hand tools and misc debris all over the place in my LogDog BX Bucket Buddy!

Is the hydrostatic noise reduced with new add on? It must change the resonant frequency of the roll bar. There have been numerous posts of hydrostatic whine being reduced by filling the cavity of the roll bar with expanding foam. Is this an alternative solution? Could change the number of tools to "fine tune". All sorts of possibilities, could insulate and put mini-keg in, lunch bucket...... Regardless, fine simple solution!

Nice idea.
However, not trying to sound like an old lady with a better or safety idea, I think you might get hung up on those bolt treads inside the bucket. You might want to chop em down and de-bur the edges.

I have also seen some orange buckets around too that would match up color wise. 5 gal buckets have ton of uses this is one. - good thinking.

I agree, but it hasnt been an issue with the stuff I toss in there.

Anybody know if Menards buckets are green? Maybe we could get the Deere fellows in on the action.

With all the R&D and testing that was done on this soon to be famous BX Bucket Buddy I bet the long bolts on the inside were designed that way. You know.....to hang stuff on. :D

I hope you had a patent attorney on board to cover you before posting this awesome advancement in technology :D

I LIKE IT!! My kind of thinker. Works and cheap.
Here are pictures of the cheapest and ugliest weights and maybe I can find the pictures of my cheap sun blockers. Found one on the F2680E with 92 hours that I'm trying to sell or can be bought from Barlows.

I need to borrow your "Flockification Meter" to help me measure up for my buddy. I know you MUST have one. Good thinking. Make a larger version and call it HAPPY carry-all then a smaller version and call it SMILEY carry-all

The next design will include a lid snap on lid to stop *prying* eyes :)

I bet a couple beers, a hammer, and some log chains would fit in there with your flockistimeter. Could you post a picture of that meter for us!? ::laughing::

I tried but for security reasons it won't come through  Sorry

I did not read about any field testing in Massachusetts. I might have to make a Bucket Buddy and test them in my fields and send a report in to the R & D team. I don't need to hang anything inside the bucket so I may reverse the U-bolts.

Very nice and handy idea. I am so tired of laying the stuff I need by my feet only to have it fall off going around a turn or up a slope (when bucket is otherwise occupied). Thanks for sharing.
