It would be interesting to hop into a time machine, and bring some of those guys back to present day. Drive 'em around in modern quad cab, leather interior, AC, totally blinged out truck......... that people only use to buy groceries with
.It's impressive what work was done with these old light trucks - I don't think I'd want to drop one of those trunk sections into a modern one-ton.

That first pic you posted.... betcha they rolled with 3 guys crammed into that cab, with the other 2 riding on the dozers. Today with trucks, some people seem to think they are having a tough day when there is some glitch sync'ing a phone with the infotainment computer.....
Good thing we aren't getting soft ! :laughing:

That reminded me of the old days when every farm had some dirt bank or pile to back up to to load and unload. Almost no one had ramps.
